Mount Mtatsminda - architectural and artistic symbol of Tbilisi, Trinity Cathedral (tallest church in Georgia),visit the State Museum of Georgia, Metekhi Church (13 th cc), Old Tbilisi, Sulphur Baths, Narikala Fortress (5th-6th cc.), Sioni Cathedral(6th-7th c.c) and Anchiskhati churches (6th cc.). Overnight in Tbilisi.
- -Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Kutaisi. Visit town of Mtskheta (UNESCO site); ancient capital of eastern Georgia, visit Jvari monastery, Svetitschoveli cathedral, One of the sacred places of Georgia. Travel to western part of the country. Visit Ubisa Monastery, magnificent mural painting from 14th cc. Overnight in Kutaisi.
- -Kutaisi - On the way to Kutaisi visit Stalin museum and rock-cut town of Uplistsikhe; Drive to Stepantsminda. Overnight in Stepantsminda.
- -On the way to Telavi visit the beautiful Gergeti trinity Church, Dariali Canyon, Ananuri fortress, short photo-stops. Overnight in Telavi.
- -Visit Shuamta Monastery, Tsinandali , Gremi fortress in 16-17th centuries was a capital of Kakhetian kingdom. Alaverdi Cathedral symbol of the blossoming of the Kakheti culture, Ikalto Academy, winery “Wine Trails”. Overnight in Telavi.
- -Telavi – Signagi - Davit-Gareja - Tbilisi. Sighnaghi a beautiful example of the city architecture of the 18th century, one of the smallest towns in Georgia, surrounded by the defensive wall. Bodbe Monastery. David-Gareja cave monastery complex in semi desert, were founded in semi-desert in the 6th c and remained an important centre of religious and cultural activity for many centuries. Overnight in Tbilisi. Farewell dinner at the national restaurant with folklore concert.

What You Can Expect
- Ananuri a former residence of Aragvi Dukes. Complex featuring churches and towers dating back to the 16th- 17th cc. is beautiful overlooking Zhinvali reservoir. The Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument, or “Panorama”. The Soviet monument was built in 1983 to commemorate 200 years anniversary of the Treaty of Georgievsk (1783). Gergeti Trinity Church (Holy Trinity Church 14th century) is situated at an elevation of 2170 meters, under Mount Kazbegi. Its isolated location on top of a steep mountain surrounded by the vastness of nature has made it a symbol for Georgia. The church is now an active.
- The monastery complexes -Daviti's Lavra in Gareji semi- desert, were founded in the 6th c and remained an important center of religious and cultural activity for many centuries. Another monastery complex Udabno, comprises a series of caves along a steep escarpment looking down to grassy plains of Azerbaijan. Udabno monastery famous for its wall-paintings dated in the 9 th to 13th centuries. The high artistic skill made them an indispensable part of world treasure. Among them is the monastery’s refectory, where the monks had to kneel to eat at low stone tables. It’s decorated with beautiful light-toned frescoes, the principal one being an 11th-century Last Supper, the Annunciation Church, with very striking frescoes showing Christ and his disciples (you need some agility to get inside it);
- Gremi is a architectural monument – is encircled by a wall secured by embrasures, the royal citadel, three-story castle, a bell tower, a wine cellar, remains of the secret tunnel, the Church of the Archangels wich was constructed in 1565 and frescoes by 1577. Gremi was the capital of the Kingdom of Kakheti in the 16th and 17th centuries. It functioned as a lively trading town on the Silk Road, being razed to the ground by the armies of Shah Abbas I of Persia in 1615. Since 2007, the monuments of Gremi have been proposed for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
