Spring returns quietly to Kakheti. The vineyards awaken, the soil warms,
and the qvevri that rested silently beneath the earth through winter begin to
share the story of the new wine.
We invite you to celebrate the opening of the wine season at Wine Trails Marani,
a small traditional winery in the historic village of Ikalto, in the heart of the Alazani Valley.
During this special event we slowly begin opening our qvevri and tasting the
first wines of the new vintage — together with traditional Kakhetian dishes,
stories about Georgian winemaking, and the warm spirit of the Georgian table.
