It Started With School Friendship
In 1969, we sat together in our very first school class. Life took us through different paths, careers, and decades, but our bond remained unbroken.
Throughout the years, one quiet idea kept inspiring us: one day, we would return to our roots and craft our own natural Georgian wine together.
50 years of friendship built the foundation for Wine Trails Marani.
A Cellar Made for Friends
In 2019, our dream took root in the historic village of Ikalto. This is not a cold commercial venture; it is an authentic Friends' Cellar built for hospitality, warm conversations, and genuine winemaking.
We created a sanctuary where ancient Georgian tradition meets the warmth of true camaraderie.
The Qvevri Way
Our wine ferments and matures deep underground in natural clay Qvevri vessels, honoring Georgia's 8,000-year-old unbroken winemaking heritage.
We work organically and patiently—allowing nature, skin contact, and clay to craft honest, structured Kakhetian wines.
