7-Day Cultural Heritage Tour of Georgia
Georgia is one of the world’s oldest Christian nations, converted in 337 AD — long before much of Europe. Its sacred sites are not museum pieces. They are living places of worship, built into cliff faces, perched above glaciers, and hidden in forested valleys where monks have prayed for over a thousand years.
This 7-day journey takes you through the most spiritually significant corners of the country — from the Holy City of Mtskheta, where the Robe of Christ is said to rest, to Gergeti Trinity Church standing alone at 2,170 metres beneath Mount Kazbek. You will visit the burial site of St. Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia, walk the ancient Ikalto Academy where wine and philosophy were taught side by side, and end in Tbilisi among the oldest surviving churches in the Caucasus.
This is not a sightseeing checklist. It is a journey into a living faith.

Below, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral holds one of Christianity’s most sacred relics — the robe worn by Christ at the Crucifixion. We continue to Samtavro Monastery, where Georgia’s first Christian monarchs are buried, and close the day at Samtavisi, an 11th-century cathedral that pioneered a new era in Georgian architecture:

We had such a fantastic wine tasting experience at Wine Trails! Zaza is so warm and welcoming. We arrived without a reservation and he was happy to welcome us onto the winery and give us a tour! He explained the whole winemaking process to us and offered us some delicious wines and cha cha to taste! He sent us home with parting gifts as well. Zaza has a real love for his craft and a love of sharing it with others, which made this experience so unique and intimate . I highly recommend that anyone in the area visit Wine Trails Winery!
