Kolkheti National Park

the first natural site in Georgia, is nominated on the UNESCO World Heritage List, for its Colchic forests and wetland.  You will be astonished how many birds are migrating here, especially in late spring and early autumn.  Wetlands are an important resting and staging area for thousands of water birds migration between Northern Eurasia and Africa.

Georgian Orthodox church, autocephalous church of the Orthodox communion in Georgia. The church is one of the most ancient Christian communities in the world. The Georgians adopted Christianity through the ministry of a woman, St. Nino, early in the 4th century. In the Middle Ages, Georgia experienced several periods of political expansion, during which the church developed remarkably rich traditions of art, architecture, and literature.

Upper Svaneti

Preserved by its long isolation, the Upper Svaneti region of the Caucasus is an exceptional example of mountain scenery with medieval-type villages and tower-houses. The village of Chazhashi still has more than 200 of these very unusual houses, which were used both as dwellings and as defence posts against the invaders who plagued the region.

Gelati Monastery

Is a masterpiece of the Golden Age of medieval Georgia, a period of political strength and economic growth between the 11th and 13th centuries. It is characterized by the facades of smoothly hewn large blocks, balanced proportions and blind arches for exterior decoration. The Gelati monastery, one of the largest medieval Orthodox monasteries, was also a centre of science and education and the Academy it housed was one of the most important centres of culture in ancient Georgia.

Wine producing of ''Twins Wine Cellar in Napareuli'' is based on the oldest Kakhetian method, such as producing wine in kvevri. It points to the uniqueness of this method and it is also a message for the whole world that wine is an integral part of ancient Georgian culture.

The wine is produced by endemic variety of Kakhetian vine in unique clay vessel – Qvevri. Alaverdi Royal Monastery is historically known by its qvevris and cellar.
