Day 1 : Arrival Tbilisi.
Transfer, Hotel accommodation.
Day 2 : Tbilisi - Mtskheta- Stepantsminda (Kazbegi).
Visit town of Mtskheta (UNESCO site); ancient capital of eastern Georgia, visit Jvari monastery, Svetitschoveli cathedral, One of the sacred places of Georgia. Driving along the river Aragvi Valley and Georgian Military Highway. On the road visit Ananuri architectural complex. After Ananuri is possible organize rafting(around 90 min). We cross the Greater Caucasus down to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). Overnight in Kazbegi. Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 3 : Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) - Kutaisi.
Walk up to Gergeti Sameba Church (round trip 2 – 3 hour). Explore the area and enjoy the views of the surrounding summits, including Mt. Kazbek. For more hiking we offer trip to Gveleti waterfall , (round trip 2 – 3 hour) Drive to Kutaisi.
Day 4 : Kutaisi
Kutaisi sightseeing, former capital of the west Georgian Kingdom Colkhics, to which is related the myth of Golden Fleece and Argonauts. Bagrati Cathedral . Visit agriculture market and shopping for cooking class. Take a part in harvest, wine tasting, cooking class. Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 5 : Kutaisi - Mestia.
Gelati monastery complex, Phrometeus caves, Sataplia Grotto, where the prints of dinosaurs are found. Drive to Mestia, Svaneti province. Photo stops on the way to Mestia.
Day 6 : Mestia
Mestia sightseeing. Mestia is surrounded by huge Caucasus Mountains as Ushba (4710m) and Tetnuldi (4975m) – some of the most severe and beautiful summits of the Caucasus. After breakfast, ease walk to CHAALATI GLACIER,late go till HATSVLAVAR chair lift to have nice views on Ushba. Lunch. Back to MESTIA and free time to visit Visit Svanetian towers and Mestia Museum. O/n in guesthouse in MESTIA.
Day 7 : Mestia - Ushguli - Mestia
Travel to village Ushguli. Visit the village, its medieval towers and enjoy the views of Mt. Shkhara (5201m). Return to Mestia.
Day 8 : Mestia - Batumi
After breakfast, drive to MAZERI. Trek in the area (6 h to/from USHBA WATERFALLS to the foot of Mt. Ushba). Back to MAZERI and drive to Batumi. Batumi. Travel to the Black Sea coast. Arrive in Batumi. Overnight in Batumi.
Day 9 : Batumi
Batumi sightseeing. City tour and enjoy the evening by the sea or with a drink at the Piazza. After lunch free time.
Day 10 : Batumi - Borjomi.
Morning spend in Batumi. Drive to Borjomi. Overnight in Borjomi.
Day 11 : Borjomi - Vardzia - Tbilisi.
Excursion to Vardzia cave-monastery. On the way back to Borjomi we explore Rabati – the old part of Akhaltsikhe. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 12 : Tbilisi
Tbilisi sightseeing. Mount Mtatsminda - architectural and artistic symbol of Tbilisi, Trinity Cathedral (tallest church in Georgia),visit the State Museum of Georgia, Metekhi Church (13 th cc), Old Tbilisi, Sulphur Baths, Narikala Fortress (5th-6th cc.), Sioni Cathedral(6th-7th c.c) and Anchiskhati churches (6th cc.). Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 13 : Tbilisi-Davit-Gareja- Signagi.
David-Gareja cave monastery complex in semi desert, were founded in semi-desert in the 6th c and remained an important centre of religious and cultural activity for many centuries. Sighnaghi a beautiful example of the city architecture of the 18th century, one of the smallest towns in Georgia, surrounded by the defensive wall. Bodbe Monastery. Overnight in Sighnaghi
Day 14 : Signagi-Alaverdi-Ikalto-Tbilisi.
Visit Gremi fortress in 16-17th centuries was a capital of Kakhetian kingdom. Alaverdi Cathedral symbol of the blossoming of the Kakheti culture, Ikalto Academy, Tsinandali, , Shuamta Monastery, wine factory, Farewell dinner at the national restaurant with folklore concert. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 15 : Free day in Tbilisi.
